White water rafting
White water rafting is a challenging recreational activity using an inflatable raft to navigate a river. It is usually done in white water in order to thrill and excite the raft passengers. This activity has gained popularity since mid 1970s. It is considered an extreme sport because it is quite dangerous. There are 6 grades of difficulty in white water rafting. The first 2 grades include rough waters and rocks and it requires basic rafting skills. Grade 3 and 4 requires more whitewater experience and skills while the 5th and 6th grade requires advanced skills and can be very dangerous. Those who experience grade 6 without serious injuries are widely considered lucky or extremely skillful.
